Blood donation drive yesterday was a good experience. I realised that it wasn't a painful procedure after all. People always say it's like 'Ants bite'. It's so true. Even less painful than that. At 1130 yesterday, me and Ann went to the Agora Hall for the donation. But Ann couldn't make it as the doctor there advised her not to as her blood level was low. So she went back to class first as the volunteers there chased her away. In the morning, both of us had YTF for breakfast and went to buy Milo. I was rejected twice back then due to low iron in my blood that's why I believe the Milo could actually increase the iron in my body. This time round, I was accepted as a donor. Like WOW!

I was like really really really nervous. I was shaking like mad as the hall was so cold! I am a hemophobic and I'm scared of injections. I'm even sensitive to pain. When I'm being hit, my skin will turn so red!! Like yesterday when Ann tap on my arm to find my veins, it turned so red! But I'm doing this to save lives. My granny once had a major operation and she needed blood transfusion. It saved my granny so I wanna save others who are in need too.

When I was on that chair waiting for the nurses to inject me, I was really nervous. The first jab was to numb that area where the huge needle is going to be poked. That jab was kinda not so painful. Then came the big one. I distracted myself by reading the pamphlet given by the nurse. It happened so fast. The nurse asked me to squeeze the pulse ball so I squeezed it tight and when she said release, I turned and see blood starting to flow into the bag. I was so relieve I didn't feel any pain at all. Phew..

After the process, I was asked to rest for 10 minutes before going to the refreshment station. I felt a great sense of satisfaction! I'm also proud of myself for the courage. When I went to the refreshment station, the station IC handed me a certificate as I was a first-timer. It was a rather cute cert. Haha! I wanna thank that China guy, Indian girl and Priscias, my ex classmate for assuring me that it wasn't a painful process and that it is all worthwhile! :D I didn't get the names of the other 2 peeps but thank you anyway. :)





Yesterday was Design Studio. As usual it's my favourite module! Ann's too! It was on Design Philosophy. We research on Chinese and Persian carpets. When I came back from the blood donation drive, I learnt that Ann hasn't started on the design. I was like wth! I panic a bit but Ann was penging big time about her stupid ex. Relax ah Ann. I know how you felt right. We were only left with about half an hour before presentation. We tried to overlay photos of carpets but it doesn't work at all. Lastly, we stick with brushes and luckily my adobe photoshop wasn't lagging big time yesterday otherwise I peng! Nice right our modern+traditional Persian and Chinese designs! We did this from scratch ok! Confirm beat the other teams in class. :P



Ahaaaa... Wondering what the hell is this picture above? This is an ad which my team and I came out with for our Advertising module last Monday. We improvised the given ad and we changed everything to this. Last week I got a C for the Symantec anti-virus ad. But this week, for the Honda Civic Hybrid ad, I got an A for this prototype design. So happy!!! I think the whole team got A. Thanks for the combined effort of Abby, Ann, Hazmi and Liz. Power lah!!! :D :D :D :D :D
