Pasir Ris and The Haunted Changi story....

I don't know how true stories about haunted sites around Pasir Ris are. But one thing for sure, this friendly, quiet neighbourhood of mine is definitely an eerie place to be at night. That's why I hate to go home alone after 11 pm. Because at 10 pm, the lights at the basketball court in front of my apartment will be switched off. No one is allowed to use the court after 10. With the presence of Ah Bengs playing basketball at night makes me feel safer, I have to admit. But when I come home at night seeing them not at the court, I'll feel uneasy and will get very paranoid... :p

In 1997, one of my aunt who just moved in to the then new neighbourhood saw a pontianak looking at her from the opposite block. She has moved out from Pasir Ris now and used to live 3 blocks away from me. She was in the kitchen washing dishes when she turn to look out the window and saw the unwanted. She wasn't too scared then and instead just stare hard at the figure. When she turn to look at it again, it was gone.. It was around 11+ pm. Moments later, she and another aunt of mine went outta the house and happened to see 'it' at the lift landing. What more, they rushed back into the house looking pale..

There's once when I was 14, me and my high school mates, Nad and Pojee went to the haunted block in Bedok. We read the True Singapore Ghost Story and was curious about it. Pojee and Nad live in the neighbourhood so we find the courage to explore. When we reached the block, we actually approached this lonlely old lady and asked her loads of questions. She was more than happy to have our company. She's been living in the block for 15 years at that time but she has yet to experience anything. The haunted apartment was at level 5. We did went upstairs but when the lift door open at storey 5, we quickly press 1. Haha! Was spooky and we were scared actually. To those who don't know, the block is 511, Bedok Reservoir Road.

In one of the seasons of Incredible Tale showcased a story of a haunted apartment in Pasir Ris near the Sungai Api-Api. I don't know much about the story or what's the block of the apartment. The story didn't reveal all these informations except for what's happenning within the house. I heard that the apartment is facing the river which linked to the mangrove swamp. Many believed that the swamp is one scary place to be at even in daylight. Well I'm curious to know more. Anyway I searched at the Singapore Paranormal Investigators' website and spotted a number of interesting stories..
