French connection?? Not really..
My trip to Colmar Bukit Tinggi Malaysia with 2 of step-uncles and my parents was 70% enjoyable and 30% dreadful. Dreadful because the service was bad. And the food there is kinda expensive. RM16 for a small potion of fries which is equivalent to MacD's small fries(this is way too much right?). Well, they charged that much because there are no other shops nearby. There are many French restaurants there. Food was kinda good too. I think I've gained about 1kg plus.
The first night, I couldn't sleep because both my parents were snoring!!!! I couldn't take it! It was already 2 am and I couldn't sleep. When they both stop snoring for once, I quickly force myself to sleep. An hour later, I was awaken by my stepmom's loud snore. Damn! So I watched TV till around 5 am when I finally could sleep. Was then awaken at 7 am by a phone call from my step-uncle as it's time to prepare for breakfast.
The preeminent part of the trip was the caricature. Every one of us which includes my uncle and parents did a caricature of themselves. I did one for myself too of course. The artists are so friendly. There're 3 of them. Jamil, Asreemoro and Don. Don was my artist. I wanted myself to look very business-like. The background of the picture is the Twin Tower, KL Tower and Colmar Tropicale. The final product is excellent! I like it!

One of my 'best' paintings
On the last day after breakfast, We went up to one of the viewing tower to look at the scenery. It's such a picturesque view. It's chilly up there and I feel the fresh cold air there. It's heavenly! Later, me, my stepmom and Uncle Zai did some plaster paintings to kill time before checking out at noon. At first, me and Uncle Zai were so enthusiastic to paint our F1 cars. Slowly, the lazy syndrome arises. But we finish it off eventually.
A van picked us up later at 1 pm to Genting. From there we have to wait for the coach to bring us back to Singapore. And again to kill time, we did sat on the cable car up to Genting Highland and back down to the bus station. It took about 30 minutes in all. It's the fastest cable car in the world and the longest in S.E.A. Very nice view from inside.
The coach came around 10 minutes to 4. There were a big group of Indian family in the bus. They were such a noisy lot. Throughout the journey, there's this irritating boy keep making noises! I couldn't stand him. The least his family could do is to shut him off but they didn't! Damn sickening arsehole!
I enjoyed myself for the trip overall. At least I got some rest and a peace of mind while I was at Colmar. Even though I don't wish to return to that place again, I think it's a good experience being there from the busy hectic life in Singapore. Took some scenery pictures during my trip.
